The Pinky Show!

Since I have no television I find myself surfing YouTube on late nights or rainy days when I have exhausted all other forms of entertainment. I stumbled across this Gem a few weeks back and am totally hooked.

I love the "How to spend 1.5 Billion dollars" blurb.

The high bridge. No joke.

We have so many really cool places to go hiking in the River Valley area. The day I went out to the high bridge it was really windy and a storm was rolling in.

It is such an awesome thing to be far above the trees. To feel the wind swirling around you and the slight give of the bridge. When the wind really picks up you can't help but hold tight to the banister, thoughts of a blustery day taking you over the edge to feel the wind and only the wind under you for those few seconds before your world in nothing but water. Water that feels like cement.
I love the contrast that you feel from these photo's. Soft, natural green trees sliced through by hard edges of iron and hewn* logs.

*Jeeeesus. I spell checked this bloggy and hewn apparently is not a word. Silly me.....

Quote of the day

Brought to you by our friends at the Minnesota Department of Health

"Capture the spider for later identification (crush the specimen, if necessary, but do so as gently as possible)."

Yes.... Gently crush the spider now.......GENTLY!!!

Bare with me now

So I have finally succumbed to the blogosphere.

I am going to blog like whoever is reading it actually cares!

I have a lot of fun travel coming up. I am going to pop my Texas cherry this summer, will of course be spending a few weekends down in Chicago, some time at my Island and I now have a few friends in Milwacky that I will for sure love to visit. Vancouver to Calgary (Via kick as road trip through the Canadian Rockies) is on the books for August.
This woman does not like to stand still.

Ok, that is my first blog. I am about to push the magic button that will allow all others in the blogosphere to view the garbage I have just written, sorry to have wasted your time.

To redeem myself let me leave you with this quote:

"Attack life, it's going to kill you anyways..."
